Hello and welcome — I’m Dr. Lisa Davidson, a licensed clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist. I’ve spent more than 25 years helping children, teens, adults, and families find clarity, healing, and confidence through life’s challenges.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership — a place where you can be heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Whether you’re navigating anxiety or depression, recovering from a medical or neurological issue, or seeking healthier relationships, I’m here to help you uncover your strengths and move forward with purpose.

I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from York University in Toronto, followed by a post-doctoral fellowship in adult psychiatry at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in both clinical and forensic settings, and I’m licensed to practice in California, Nevada, and Texas.

In my practice, I provide:

  • Individual, couples, and family therapy

  • Psychological and neuropsychological assessments

  • Support for life transitions, stress, grief, trauma, and medical challenges

  • Collaboration with physicians, educators, and other professionals for truly integrated care

My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based methods with a compassionate, collaborative style. I emphasize strength-based, goal-directed interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs and life circumstances. My work often involves multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, neurologists, physicians, educators, and attorneys to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

My clinical practice remains actively engaged in professional consultation and continuing education in clinical psychology and neuropsychology. I offer in-person and telehealth services to accommodate client preferences and accessibility needs.

I am committed to providing thoughtful, ethical, and individualized care that supports each client in achieving greater insight, resilience, and well-being.

I understand that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming. My goal is to make that first step a little easier by offering a compassionate, respectful space where real change can begin.

If you’d like to learn more or schedule a consultation, I’d be honored to connect with you.
